McDonalds crew members work in the kitchen preparing food and at the front counter helping customers through the ordering process. Crew member job duties include operating a cash register, running the drive-thru, cooking, preparing and packaging menu items, cleaning the restaurant, partnering with other Crew and Managers to meet target goals. Crew Members can develop into Crew Trainers, which then help with training new hires in the restaurant.
Shift Managers lead shifts making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.
Department Managers run one of the three departments in the restaurant: Guest Service, Kitchen, or People and lead training, goal setting and team reporting.
General Managers are responsible for several tasks including the tracking of key business performance metrics such as profit and loss, inventory, scheduling, and crew management. General Managers also lead training and development of the team.
Operations Supervisors, lead and oversee multiple McDonald’s restaurants at a regional level. Operations Supervisors train and coach General Managers and are involved in the analysis of key business performance metrics.
